The engagement
What the work
can involve.
We tailor the scope to the decision you need to make, the available information and the project stage.

- 01
Review geology, previous investigations, access constraints and the questions the field programme must resolve.
- 02
Specify investigation locations, target depths, sampling methods and field observations for project review.
- 03
Coordinate CPT/CPTu, boreholes, rock coring, disturbed and suitable undisturbed sampling, including block samples where appropriate.
- 04
Develop an interpreted ground model with sample quality, spatial coverage, variability and limitations explicitly recorded.
Agreeing responsibilities
Rig availability, specialist field contractors, laboratory providers, access permissions and safety arrangements are agreed for each mobilisation.
The output
Defined work.
Useful deliverables.
- Investigation scope, location plan and sampling schedule
- Field records and sample traceability requirements
- Factual data compilation and interpreted ground model
- Parameter recommendations within the agreed assessment scope
What to bring to the first discussion
Site location and access, facility geometry, geological information, prior data and the design or risk question.
You can start with an outline of the information you have. We will agree the document list and transfer method before you send confidential material.
Working together
A scope you can review.
The proposal identifies tasks, deliverables, inputs, dependencies, exclusions and pricing. Open questions remain visible so the next decision is informed.
